The Neil Pryde One Design tour made a stop in at the 39th Annual Atlanta Fall Classic windsurfing regatta this past weekend (October 13-15). This event is a windsurfing staple held each year by the Lake Lanier Sailing Club, just 30 miles outside of the city of Atlanta.
Chris Voith of LLSC graciously extended an invitation to Neil Pryde to have the RS:One Convertible involved in this year’s event as a demo. Although the breeze never really materialized for the 3-day event, that certainly didn’t put a stop to the enthusiasm. Windsurfers from all over the Southeast gathered to chat gear, reminisce about good times, and check out NP’s new one design class. This was a great opportunity for windsurfing enthusiasts to check out the latest in one design foiling gear and get a taste of just how accessible and easy it is to take the leap into foiling.
After dinner, hosted by LLSC, on Saturday night, sailors were treated to a presentation on NP One Design, highlighting both windsurfing and kiteboarding. This event served as a Q & A for any and all questions on foiling equipment and helped to shed some light on the future of our sport.
Neil Pryde would like to extend a huge thank you to Chris, the Lake Lanier Sailing Club, and all of the great people we got a chance to catch up with in Atlanta! If you’re interested in a demo in your neck of the woods, don’t hesitate to contact Adventure Sports!
